Ben Sidran torrent at dimeadozen.org

A live performance by Ben Sidran & Rodolphe Burger is available as a bit torrent at dimeadozen.org. The show features 6 songs from the Dylan Different album plus two non-album songs, Love Minus Zero and Outlaw Blues. The concert was recorded live Nov. 17, 2009 in Paris, the recording is of a FM radio broadcast.
If anyone is able and willing to supply this show either as mp3s or on a CD-R, please contact me.

Michael Tearson's "World Wide Dylan"

Radio host Michael Tearson, a frequent contributor to DylanCover.com, has been added to the playlist of Radio That Doesn't Suck. Michael's first all-new and original show for RTDS is called World Wide Dylan: Translation Department, an hour of Dylan cover translations. He will be posting shows regularly, and some will be further World Wide Dylan hours.
Go to radiothatdoesntsuck.com, and click the Listen On Demand player (top left corner) then choose Michael's show in the pop-up window.

Zimming Point remixed & improved (re-post)

Their website problems are resolved, so the new remixed and improved edition of the Zimming Point 2007 album It's All True is now available for download at zimmingpoint.com, including an additional (non-Dylan) bonus-track.

Phoenix covers Dylan

The February issue of the German magazine musikexpress includes a free EP by the French band Phoenix. Live & Unplugged was recorded at N-Joy radio, Hamburg, on October 12, 2009 and includes a cover of Sad-Eyed Lady of the Lowlands.

Troubador Folk Players: A Salute To Bob Dylan

Yet another generic studio group, download album has appeared. A Tribute To Bob Dylan is credited to Troubador Folk Players. The 19-track CD was released by Big Eye Music earlier this month. Judging by the samples (I have not heard the full album,) only four tracks have vocals, the rest are instrumentals in "organ version," "piano version," or other versions. Some songs appear in two versions.
The download album is available in mp3 format from amazon.com, amazon.de and amazon.co.uk.
The CD has been added to Dylan Cover Albums HERE. Despite being mostly instrumental, per my policy for mixed-format albums it is listed it in the Vocals section.

New: Cinzia Tedesco

Jazz vocalist Cinzia Tedesco of Italy has released Like A Bob Dylan, a 10-track album of Dylan covers. The album was issued last month by CNI Music.
I have no info about the CD - if there is one- yet, but the album is available digitally from iTunes. Three live covers of hers are on YouTube (unknown if the album has the same live tracks.)
The album will be added to Dylan Cover Albums when more details are available.

Rock Union Orchestra: The Sound of Bob Dylan

New in circulation is The Sounds of Bob Dylan: Ultimate Collection credited to Rock Union Orchestra. The 10-track CD is issued by Luxury Multimedia Ltd. of Ireland. Despite the "orchestra" label the songs are vocal versions.
I have not been able to locate a retailer, but the CD has been listed on German & Italian eBays.
