Berkeley Halloween Dylan tribute show now at LMA

The Halloween night Dylan tribute show in Berkeley California mentioned earlier this month is now available at the Live Music Archive. The Ghosts Of Electricity (an all-star band assembled for the event featuring Mark Karan, Stu Allen, Pat Nevins, and others - not the NY band Ghosts of Electricity) 24-song concert is a great soundboard recording.

Steffen Brandt's Baby Blue added to Dylan Cover Albums

Baby Blue: Bob Dylan gendigtet by Steffen Brandt has been added to Dylan Cover Albums HERE. The tracklist and more info is available there.
Brandt is the lead singer of the Danish rock band TV-2.
The 2-CD set - also released on LP - of 18 Danish-language Dylan covers is on the A:larm Music label. More info (in Danish) is available at their website.

Joni & JT sing Mr. Tambourine Man

Available only from the project's website is Amchitka: the 1970 concert that launched Greenpeace. The first disc features Phil Ochs & James Taylor, the 2nd disc is Joni Mitchell.
During her set, Joni's own Carey segues into a nearly 7 minute Mr. Tambourine Man, with JT joining her midway.

100% of the net proceeds from the sale of the Coal Country Music various-artist CD go to the Alliance for Appalachia to stop mountaintop removal.

That's a Bob Dylan Song: Bob Fest '09 has been added to Dylan Cover Albums HERE (tracklist and additional links and info available there.)
The 2-CD, 29-song album was recorded at Pat Guadagno's annual Bob Fest, May 19 2009 at the Two River Theater in Red Bank, New Jersey.
It's a great concert, highly recommended. Several members of the Tired Horses band sing lead or share vocals on a few songs.

19 New in Dylan Title Tracks

The first-of-month update of Dylan Title Tracks added 19 new items, for a new total of 1,592.
Included is this 1967 (or 68-?) German sleeve by The Guardians with Love Minus Zero
on the B-side. This one was new to the DataBase, too.
